MotionLab (AthletixCoach) · athletixcoach.com · Effective October 31, 2026
This policy explains what information MotionLab (AthletixCoach) collects at athletixcoach.com, how we use it, and what choices you have. It covers the app and the emails we send from athletixcoach.com.
Account. Your email address; a hashed password if you register with email; or, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the name and email address that provider shares with us. We also store your role in the app (athlete, coach, or administrator), which sets what you are allowed to do.
Video you upload. The competition or training files you upload (up to 100 MB each) and the file name.
Analysis records. The settings you choose (event group, camera view, optional distance, analysis focus), the point you click to identify the athlete, the label you give that athlete, the frames we sample, estimated joint positions, computed metrics, key moments, phase breakdowns, the written assessment and recommendations, and any coaching notes you add.
Questions about a video. The questions you ask about an athlete and the answers saved with that video.
Your library. Goals and personal bests you set, drills you save, and technique reference profiles you create. Saved reference profiles are readable by other signed-in users; everything else is visible only to you.
On your device. Your last-chosen camera view and timeline smoothing setting are kept in your browser's local storage so the app reopens the way you left it, and a small cookie remembers whether the navigation panel is open. Clearing site data resets these.
Logs. Basic server and error logs, used to keep the Service running and secure.
To analyse a video, MotionLab samples a limited number of frames and sends them — together with your selected-athlete marker and event settings — to the AI model service that powers MotionLab (Google Gemini). That provider processes those frames and returns the pose estimates and written feedback shown in your result.
Frames are sent only when you run an analysis or ask a question about that video. We do not upload your entire video library to the AI provider, and we do not ask it to identify people by name.
No system is completely secure. We aim to keep your footage private and will tell you if we become aware of a breach that affects you.
Your video and analysis records are kept until you delete them. There is no automatic purge — if you want footage or a record removed, delete it in the app or email us. Closing your account removes the data tied to it. Backups and provider logs may hold copies for a shorter period afterwards. Transactional email records are kept by our email provider under its own retention rules.
The Service is not directed at children under 16. A young athlete's video may be analyzed by a parent or guardian, or by a coach or club that holds a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child's footage has been uploaded without proper permission, contact us and we will remove it.
Reference clips in the technique library play from YouTube. Once a video loads there, YouTube's own privacy practices apply and are outside our control.
We will post any update at athletixcoach.com/privacy with a new effective date, and where we have your email address we will write to you about changes that materially affect how we use your information.
Privacy questions and requests: support@athletixcoach.com. We aim to respond promptly.
